Wisconsin hospital worker intentionally destroyed over 500 doses of coronavirus vaccine

According to police, a hospital worker in Grafton, Wisconsin intentionally destroyed 500 doses of the Moderna coronavirus vaccine on Saturday, December 26th. No motive has yet been revealed for the hospital worker’s actions.

Fox News reports that the hospital, Advocate Aurora Health, originally was led to believe that the doses were destroyed in error by an employee who inadvertently removed them from the refrigerator and failed to timely replace them. The employee in question reportedly removed 57 vials — each containing ten doses — from the refrigeration unit where they were being kept and did not replace them.

The employee, whose identity has not yet been released by the hospital, initially told the hospital that the failure to replace the vials was accidental; however, on Wednesday the employee allegedly admitted to hospital administrators under further questioning that the destruction of the vaccine doses had been an “intentional act.”

In a statement released to Fox News, the hospital noted that the employee in question was no longer employed, and expressed disappointment that 500 Wisconsin residents would now be delayed in receiving their coronavirus vaccine. According to the statement, “We continue to believe that vaccination is our way out of the pandemic. We are more than disappointed that this individual’s action will result in a delay of more than 500 people receiving their vaccine.”

“Earlier this week, we learned that 57 vials of Moderna vaccine were removed from a pharmacy refrigerator at Aurora Medical Center – Grafton overnight, resulting in more than 500 doses of vaccine being discarded. We immediately launched an internal review and were led to believe this was caused by inadvertent human error. The individual in question today acknowledged that they intentionally removed the vaccine from refrigeration. We have notified appropriate authorities for further investigation. We continue to believe that vaccination is our way out of the pandemic. We are more than disappointed that this individual’s actions will result in a delay of more than 500 people receiving their vaccine. This was a violation of our core values, and the individual is no longer employed by us.”

Statement from Aurora (Dec. 30)

According to a statement released to WITI-TV, hospital administrators called police Wednesday afternoon to report the incident, which is now being “actively investigated” by the FBI, FDA, and Grafton Police Department.

“We learned that about 50 vials of Moderna vaccine were inadvertently removed from a pharmacy refrigerator overnight. Our internal review determined that as a result of unintended human error, the vials were not replaced in the refrigerator after temporarily being removed to access other items. While some of the vaccine was administered to team members on Dec. 26 within the approved 12-hour post-refrigeration window, unfortunately, most of it had to be discarded due to the temperature storage requirements necessary to maintain its viability.

Initial statement from Aurora (Dec. 28)

“After successfully vaccinating about 17,000 team members over the last 12 days, we are clearly disappointed and regret this happened.”

Initial statement from Aurora (Dec. 28)

Overall, the government has acknowledged that the pace of vaccination is lagging behind the original goals set by Operation Warp Speed. The government originally hoped to deliver 20 million doses of the vaccine before the end of the year; however, by most current estimates, it seems likely that less than 5 million doses will actually be delivered in that time frame.

    1. Amen to that………..The DEM Governor will probably give her a key to the City………..TYPICAL of DEM’s actions………

  1. The vaccine is worth its weight in gold. Employee took them out and didn’t do anything with them for “over 12 hours” how dumb! What kind of employee’s are hired at this hospital? Discharged: with a damn good explanation. Employee should not be able to collect unemployment benefits!

    1. No, it needs to be much more strong than that. This person possible is going to cause the dead of many people. Not sure what law they can be convicted of because who would have thought anyone could be so cruel and hateful as to deprive someone of lifesaving hope like this. A new law needs to be passed immediately and then try and discover a serious felony that will cover the destruction of a lifesaving vaccine.

  2. The person will be punished somehow because the vaccine was brought about by the actions of President Trump. The democrats continue to let loiters and people burning cities go free with no punishment. As long as there is no consequences for their actions it will continue.

  3. The employee did us a favor. Those vaccines are meant to aide the Commies to enslave the American people, or kill them. It’s the wet dream of the Dems and global elitists to rule the world. All you have to do is hear Fauci and Gates as to their globalist goals.

    1. Well Cynthia just wait till you or your family come down with the CHINESE VIRUS, then lets here you complain about a cure for your egotistical self.

  4. GOOD! It’s killing people. Latest article has a morgue turning people away because folks are dying after getting the shot. The things in it are deadly

  5. I would like to point out that over the 5 days of the Christmas period BOTH of my ex-daughter-in-laws parent caught and perished from Covid-19. Yes they were over 80 but BOTH were in very good health prior to contracting Covid-19. This poor girl is finding herself burying both her parents over the Christmas/New Years timeframe. This will effect her for all time ruining this supposedly Joyful time of the years

  6. I believe this animal should be tried for 500 cases of attempted murder. Since this a federal program it should be federal charges. Leavenworth would look good on her
